Adult Day Service
The Adult Day Service, the first program implemented by this nonprofit organization, opened on January 31, 2011, at the Panther Creek Community Center, but soon moved when the Dorchester House in Lincoln City offered a lovely rent-free space in their lower garden area.
The Adult Day Service serves seniors and their families by providing a safe, comfortable, and fun place for seniors and people with disabilities to socialize, play games, and create art works. Caregivers for dependent adults get respite (time-off) from their demanding responsibilities.
Open 8-5 p.m., as requested, Mondays and Wednesdays
First Visit Free
You can be a volunteer at the Adult Day Service and enjoy the games, crafts, and gourmet lunch, or you can be a enrolled participant receiving professional care and guidance. Participants pay $10 per hour with a three hour minimum.
