Level 1 - Be Ready
Prepare to evacuate:

Be aware of danger in the area and stay informed. Sign up for local emergency alerts with your county at ORAlert.gov

Plan possible evacuation routes. Use TripCheck.com or call 511 for road closure information.

Plan for emergency shelter. Call the American Red Cross at 1-800-733-2767 or visit RedCross.org

Level 2 - Be Set
Be prepared to evacuate at a moment's notice:

Time to act - follow your emergency plan and grab your go-kit of supplies.

Inform loved ones of your evacuation plans.
-
Conditions can change rapidly. You do not need to wait for another evacuation notice.

Leave if you feel unsafe.

Level 3 - GO NOW!
Evacuate immediately:
-
There is extreme danger in the area. Leave without delay.
-
Do not stop to gather belongings or protect your home.
-
Follow your emergency plan and grab your go-kit.
-
Leave as fast as safely possible.
-
Once you are safe, check with friends and family.
Emergency GO-BAG
A Suggestion List for Emergency Go-Bag
Start with what you have at home, and then add items continually. Be realistic - how much can you and your family carry. Plan for 2 weeks worth of food & Water (you and pets), 2 weeks of warm clothes, 2 weeks of medical supplies, 2 weeks of sanitation materials.
WATER
One gallon per person per day.
FOOD
Several days of non-perishable foods. (Include infant, pets, bottles and bowls, utensils, etc.)
PERSONAL HYGINE
Tooth brushes & toothpaste, soap, masks, moist towlets, non-latex gloves, toilet paper, garbage bags, feminine hygiene. A complete change of clothes for each person.
MEDICAL
Medications & Rx list, copies of medical Cards, doctor's name & contact info, pain relievers, First Aid & hand books, spare glasses & contacts.
CONTACTS
List of contacts (printed out or written), copies of personal ID's, whistle to signal for help, cell phone chargers and batteries.
IMPORTANT DOCUMENTS
Use waterproof container for copies of: Insurance Policies, Loan Documents, Birth Certificates, Bank Account records, cash $, pet information, notepad pens & pencils.

NOAA Weather Radio w/ batteries
Folding shovel
Sleeping bag & blankets
Maps, Flashlight & batteries
Multipurpose tool or folding knife
Extra set of car & home keys
